Young and Young at Heart Arts and Crafts Ministry

Vision Statement:  To unite the young and young at heart, individually and collectively through the art of hand crafts and create patterns through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture:  Psalm 139:14-16 (NIV)

14: I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,  I know that full well.

15: My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

16: Your eyes saw my unformed body; All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Ministry Description:  Arts and Crafts Ministry is a group that provides an opportunity for expressing creativity and spirituality. The crafts that are involved are crocheting,  knitting, quilting, scrapbooking,  needle-point, embroidery and painting. It is an opportunity to create memorable crafts, to make donations to those in need, community outreach, and provide spiritual growth.

Annual Events:  Community Outreach, Atria Assisted Living Projects,  Mother's Board Recognition, Taste of the World, Golden Circle, Black History Month Speech Contest
