Good morning Parents, Grandparents, Godparents, and Guardians. I hope you are doing well during this time of quarantine. I apologize for sending this twice, but some information was left off the first one.
We are putting together a video presentation for Children's Day! Here's how your child can participate.
Capture video of your child completing the phrase - Thank you God for... or I praise God for... and list the things/people they are thankful for. Here are some examples:
Thank you God for my family and my friends.
Thank you Lord for blessing me with all that I need.
I praise God for my keeping my family safe and healthy
I praise God for my parents and all He has given me.
Thank you Jesus for forgiving me for my sins
Etc...
Please encourage them to think about what it is they are personally thankful for. It doesn't have to be what's listed above. We want them to use their creativity and express themselves using their own words. We will then compile all the video clips into one presentation.
Recording instructions: Please make sure there is adequate lighting in the area your chose to record the video and no background noise. Turn your phone horizontally (landscape) to record the short video clip. Make sure your child speaks clearly to be understood. Please send your video clips to Tonya Nickens at tnickens11@gmail.com or text to 626-808-3592 by Tuesday, May 26th.
Additionally, If your child will be promoting from Kindergarten or 5th grade, Please forward 1 picture of your graduate, and the correct spelling of their name as we'd like to acknowledge their accomplishment on Children's Day as well.
